Have you ever been bullied at work? Or have you seen someone else being bullied?
Bulling can come from Doctors. nurses, managers and even different departments. What would you do? Try and avoid this person at all costs? If you see this person coming your way, do you avoid eye contact? Do you try and avoid all conversation? Hide, pray they find someone else to pick on?? …If they aren’t bulling you, who else are the bulling??
Well, let me tell you what I did……I stood UP and said “No More”, reported to the Direct Supervisor, and filled out abusive behavior report. Finally took a stand, that no one else was able to do…..
You have a moral responsibility to STOP this! It makes it easier to go to work everyday when you take a stand….You and others you work with will be glad you did!!!
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.,

abuse or
intimidate others. The behavior can be habitual and involve an imbalance of social or physical
power. It can include verbal
harassment or
threat, physical
assault or coercion and may be directed repeatedly towards particular victims, perhaps on grounds of
race,
religion,

sexuality, or ability.
[2][3] If bullying is done by a group, it is called
mobbing. The victim of bullying has been referred to as a “target”.

Current registered nurses are choosing online RN to BSN programs for a variety of reasons. An RN to BSN online university offers associate degreed registered nurses a flexible way to pursue a bachelor degree. Online education gives students the opportunity to participate in and complete coursework from the comfort of their own home. Lectures, discussions, and comments are more accessible to students involved in online coursework. A tremendous amount of time is saved when commuting to a traditional university on a regular basis is limited. This fact is especially beneficial to nurses working while pursuing a BSN. Many RN to BSN online universities offer accelerated programs that allow nurses to reach their educational goal quicker than they may imagine.
Acquiring a BSN from an RN to BSN online university gives nurses who hold an associate degree additional opportunities to advance in their careers. Many management positions require a BSN for consideration. Nurses who earn a BSN will likely be compensated at a higher rate as well when compared to RN’s with only an associate degree. Some nurses choose to pursue a BSN simply to satisfy personal educational goals. Continuing education is a vital aspect in the field of nursing so this isn’t surprising.
Many nurses interested in this educational option wonder about the way clinical requirements are handled. Clinical experiences are woven into the RN to BSN program and vary widely between online universities. Some programs offer intensive weekend clinical times whle other institutions require attendance more often at local health care institutions. Clinical experiences, however they’re handled, will likely be a part of any RN to BSN online university program.
